Do you have the tools/time/interest/aptitude to do the rehab on this bike? And the size of this one is dramatically different than the Eclaire. What is your plan? Flip? Or personal use? If personal use, I would figure out if either fits before doing anything. If flip, I would buy this one over the Eclaire, for its chrome frame and more desirable size.

That's a really nice bike.
The Panasonics are not all that common ( at least not around here ) - but they are very well respected, and sell easily.
The chromed frame and leather saddle is a big plus, so I think $300 is a logical selling price - if road ready and equipped with pedals. Maybe $200 as-is.

- The Pletscher rack, IMO, looks a little incongruous on this bike, so I would sell it on eBay, and it could bring another $40 or so.

If that were me, and that was my size, I'd have probably broken my hand getting the cash out. I've looked around my area lately for a few good bikes and all I find are project bikes for $200, most don't have any wheels or are bare frames. That would look good with a set of chrome fenders and chrome bars too. If that rack is aluminum, you could have it polished up to look just like chrome too.
By the pic, it looks like maybe the chain just fell off? I doubt that would lower the price much. Pedals are no big deal, a good set of rat traps aren't that expensive, in fact the last time I went to the bike shop they had a chrome set for $10. (Made in China though).

I agree with auchencrow. I myself would pay around $200-250 for that bike as it sits, but I am pretty cheap.

Thanks guys. It's about 2cm too small for me but I really just want another project bike. I plan on restoring it and riding it for a few weeks then flipping it. I've got plenty of tools and done this kind of bike before.
