Anyone buy stuff from here before?

A friend that I have toured with and I were browsing around various pannier/trailer type of sites for touring. So far we have found one that seems to carry everything and the prices seem to be the lowest across the board anyways.

https://www.biketrailershop.com

Anybody ever buy anything from them?

Yes -- I bought my Croozer Travel flatbed trailer from them with no problems back in 2009.

Its fantastic to be able to see pretty much everything available on the market in one spot. I believe by the middle of touring season this year for me, I will have one of these sweet ass trailers.

I haven't used mine for touring, but rather for running errands for which I previously needed to borrow my wife's car. I don't use it often, but for me it was a VERY good investment... My wife was totally on board the first time I came home with with two 40# bags of water-softener salt. Previously, this was her job with the car, yet she still hated carrying it. It is now extremely rare that I "need" a car.

Check out https://www.mayacycle.com. I got a great deal on one (25% off) and am very happy w/it. It was easy to put together and is one of the lightest weights (13lbs).

I've also heard very good things about the site you mentioned.

Well, this is a timely question: I just bought a B.O.B Yak from thebiketrailershop.com. They had the best on-line prices I could find, they included several freebies, the shipping was extremely fast and their staff sat on the phone with me several times while I asked every question I could think of.

I highly recommend them!

I've bought stuff from them. I remember good prices and quick shipping. I wouldn't hesitate to patronize them again.

I've bought from them and have been happy with price and shipping.

You didn't say what you were looking for but this is a great trailer:

I think my friend is going to go with a flatbed from either Bobs, or the likes. I will most likely pick up the Paddleboy kayak trailer. As I can just throw crap in the kayak and trun that into the pack. (I typically tour with front and rear panniers, so this would only be for my trips down to the river with the boat.) My friend tours with a trailer, right now she's using a kids type trailer.

Thanks again for all the wonderful positive feedback.

ResellerRatings is a good place to look up ratings and reviews on sellers you aren't familiar with. I always check there before ordering something from a store I hadn't heard of before. They do have a listing for BikeTrailerShop.Com, and it's all positive.

Jody, what size kayak or canoe do you use? How difficult do you find it to maneuver with that thing attached?
