Sunday was a great commute.

The weather was perfect, trails/roads were clear and the snow was only on the sides away from where I was riding. I made it to work in record time. It was just great. The ride home was even better. While there were people on the trails and more cars on the road I rode by a group of cyclist. All of them were decked out with all the gear you could want and hope for. They were going the opposite way at the bottom of my long uphill stretch. As I made it close to the top the first of the group caught me (to make it a better understanding all of this group was in incredible shape) and told me great effort, great climb. As the others slowly caught and passed they all gave me great words of encouragement. As I finally summit and continue I see them all stopped and taking a break. When I ride by they all start clapping and cheering with friendly words of encouragement. It really made me feel good. All of this on my old 3 speed. It was a great day!
