Seems appropriate for the So Cal forum.

I was in your shop once. It was about the size of a postage stamp - almost literally. Do you have new/more space?

A friend of mine emailed me earlier... wanted me to go with him to see if a place down in Seal Beach had tapped their keg. I wasn't willing to make the drive. I'll just enjoy the Pliny the Elder in my refrigerator instead.

I haven't answered the "Younger Hype" this year, being on the verge of living in Colorado's Beer Country.

A guy at Hi-Time down in Costa Mesa told me that they used to get cases of Pliny the Elder that would sit and sit and sit in the walk-in beer cooler, never selling and eventually being returned to the brewer. I hope that some day the masses will lose their taste for this beer and I can go back to getting it in quantity, instead of two bottles at a time.

You'll likely be able to test ride a lot of Blue bicycles, as well as most of the bikes we have on our floor - Pinarello, Cannondale, A few Kestrels, some more Blue, Look, and probably a few others I can't think about right now.
Yes, we've been open in this location for over a year now, we've just recently expanded to about 3x the size of before.

It seems there is a little confusion regarding the date of this event... We had several people show up at the shop yesterday (19th), thinking that it was going to be the day of the grand opening. Just to clarify, this event is in MARCH. Please don't get mad at the employees for misreading a description.

^ Yeah, reading comprehension is not a requirement of BFs.

I've heard of Younger, but never actually seen it. Like the Elder. Prefer the Blind Pig.

Just to weigh in on the shop size, I had been in the shop once or twice back when it was the size of a postage stamp. The new shop and layout are much improved, the selection is better, and everyone in the shop has been really friendly and the service great. I'm definitely pulling for this shop. If you haven't been in there since the expansion, I would say the Re-Grand Opening would be worth your time.
