I have a pair of Pearl Izumis Quest shorts they seem pretty good, I want to try some Attacks, and I am looking at Aero Tech Designs as well.

I really like the aerotech designs tights I have. I'm going to be buying some bibs soon and a tri-suit before my triathlon in June.

I like Boure.

My favorite piece from them is Elite thermo bib knickers. They do custom and mine have a couple extra inches of material on the back.

I wear bibs, but I also dig my PI gear. I have a pair of Ultrasensor bibs that I really like.
I've also got some Performance Ultra II, a pair of Assos FI.Mille and a pair of Craft winter knickers.

I wear shorts and bibs, my favorites are Assos bibs ($$$) and Gore Bike Wear ($$). The gore has a thinner material and the assos feels more like a compression material on the legs.

LET'S ROLL
I got PI Attack last year, I like it.
I've done 50-60 mile rides with it, pretty comfy.

First of all go for the bibs they are way more comfy. I like my pearl attacks. Tighter is better IMHO you don't want them folding or wrinkling when you're wearing them and you will probably lose some weight so think tight

I wear bibs from Performance. I have tried the expensive brands, and can't see enough difference to justify the price. I prefer the "century" model that Performance has.

Performance for me, too, or Velowear when it's on sale.
How big can you get PI stuff? I was chuffed a couple years ago when our sizes overlapped (PI XL, and I was down to just one X), but that's no longer the case.

Start with a pair that fits. A pattern that works for some does not work for all. It's a bit of trial and error but PI and Performance are good places to start.
Oh, and get a black pair. Don't wear white shorts unless you don't mind them becoming transparent should it rain.
