yep, exactly it's actually really similar to the color my dad painted his '65 Falcon (midnight blue pearl). It looks black at night, but in the sun it's a deep metallic blue. Totally OT but I'll attach a pic:

Hey, are the Kilos supposed to come with a small indent in the back of the frame, on the inside of the chain side? Is this part of the design?

I'm going to say yes, but a picture of what you're talking about would help so we can make sure.

yes they "clamped" the chainstay tube on both sides to make space for tire clearance and so chainstay tube isnt in the way of chainrings (bigger sizes need more chainstay realestate)
all kilos have those dents. they're supposed to be there. it wasnt you.

After pumping for 1 hour I realized it wasn't the cheap pump I bought across the street; the bike came with a flat tube.

I was using a mini pump for the first time. I thought it took longer but didn't realize.

Seriously. No mini pump should take that long.

Since I can't decide, I'll let you all decide for me.. Should I wait on the RB-002's or get Nitto Noodles?

Noodles are 42cm which are a perfect fit, I think RB-002 only comes in 38cm, I am leaning towards the bullhorns, since I don't know if I'll use the drops enough..

Heres a brighter (not really) pic of my bike, I felt dumb going anywhere other than the rear balcony with a bike that has no handlebars so yeah lol.

the noodle drops are AMAZING to be in. one of the strong points of the noodle, its comfy in all hand positions.

Yeah a big plus for both of them is they have a swept back tops.. I'm not sure if the drops will be a good fit because my seen is 90mm to originally compensate with the rb002s.

And the tops are shaped in a way that when they begin to bend, they offer more of a mock "hood" position than other drops. If you were planning on using that 90mm stem with bullhorns, you should be fine using it with Noodles as they're not super deep.

not to hijack, but for the money, would the TT be a better buy than the Gravity Attack or Dawes SST? won't be on any hills.

thanks

Hills or not, the Kilo is a better bike than the Gravity (im my opinion) - even for a hundred or so bucks more. It's probably pretty close value/quality-wise to the SST-AL. It really only depends on if you prefer steel or aluminum.

You didn't threadjack, this is the Kilo TT thread, anything related to it is welcome here (even though it says picture thread lol)

My friend as the aluminum dawes and I think both my kilo and his dawes are fine bikes. Don't know anything about the gravity attack though.

Steel might be better if you commute a lot.

I went cloth for about a week, my wrists started hurting from having no cushioning at all. Fizik bar tape looks the same, but let me tell you, it is sooo much better.
