24" bmx
Hey guys i've been lurking for a while but now i need some info. I wanna get a 24" bmx cruiser but dont know much about them. Something sturdy for a beginner that can be thrashed on would be ideal. I'm more interested in getting a used bike for the fact that i dont wanna drop like $400 on a new bike. Any 24" BMX riders have any .2 cents to throw in?

I had an older 24" Haro back in the day and it was the heaviest bike I've ever owned. The bigger wheels are weird and kind of silly, if you're into riding bmx, I would suggest sticking with the 20" wheels. I would say the only advantage for 24" wheels is the ease of actual riding, the wheels are bigger and hold their momentum longer.

I owned a Redline Pro Expert and i just couldnt, it was too small so i sold it. I'm 5'10" and my knees are kinda bad so 20" wont work. Besides, the 24's look better IMO. I currently ride a cannondale road bike and i can go riding for miles just fine.

Look for a redline MX-24 can be had for $100-$150 with 1 pc cranks.
