Bashguard
Hello,
i want to buy a Bashguard from BBG Bashguard ..
my crank is 4 chainring bolts,
the 3 ring in the crank is 44t
i dont know wich bashguard i need to buy ..
Help PLEASEE !

bollets? huh? Do you mean four chainring bolts? If so, if you have a mtb, it's probably a 104 BCD
Are you replacing the big ring? Or need a bash to protect the big ring? Get the bash with the correct BCD and the one that matches the largest chainring you want to run.

Copy says 1/8" thick.. wouldn't drag the bike over logs, but it will stop over-shifts.
past the big ring..
there are really thick ones, but they go on instead of the 44t. [but not from the listed company]
measure your diameter across the 44 with the chain on it.
and measure the bolt circle..
then communicate the numbers ..
Hooking a tape measure across the tips of the teeth, minus the chain,
I get 185 mm, that's minus the chain sitting on the chainring.

If you're getting rid of the 44T ring, then you want a bash guard rated for 32T.
4-bolt and 104mm BCD is the one you want. BCD is bolt circle diameter, which is the diameter of the imaginary circle that is drawn through all the bolt holes.
I have the standard 4-bolt, 104 BCD, 32T for my MTB and it works great.

If you're riding in woods or mountain areas where you're going to bash this ring onto logs and rocks on a regular basis then I'd suggest that 1/8 thick isn't strong enough. But if it's intended for only occasional protection then it'll likely be fine. For heavy woods and rock riding you really want one of the thicker rings. And I've even seen some of those bend from guys that ride extra hard.

Blackspire makes a 1/4 inch thick bash ring out of aluminium called the "Ring God". Around here if a rider feels the need for a guard then it's worth using one of these or equivalent since the trails that need bash guards REALLY need bash guards.
