Long Island Roads
When are they going to get fixed?
Seems like every road I was on this weekend was full of potholes

On my commute to work I ride on some pretty bad roads in Central Suffolk. I've seen more sewer repairs than pothole repairs. Some roads are in outright disrepair. Some small repairs have been made but the bigger issue (to me) seems to be that the medians haven't been cleaned to remove all the sand from the winter.

I don't think this year is any worse than previous years. It's been at least a decade since I started using my mountain bike on the roads of Long Island, only because most are so strewn with rocks, sand, and gravel.

Bad winter.
Roads suck.
Government has no money, so nothing is getting fixed.
Going to mount the 27mm wide tires on my road bike.
