Welcome aboard, pirate! Aaaaaaaaay matey! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

You'll find there are others from VA on the board- maybe you'll find some folks from your area who want to connect up for a ride sometime.

Welcome!

Hello from VV Beach! I am brand new to cycling for fitness. If you have any recommendations on riding routes, I would appreciate it. I normally ride from Croatan to Ft. Story and back. How about you? Also, I am buying a Trek bike in the next few days. I am leaning towards a hybrid 7200. Any lessons learned you can share?

W Beach Is that Williamsburg ?I was in The norfolk Va beach are for 18 mos on active duty is fort story still an army base or have the developers gotten a hold of it? I used the main drags when i cycled va beach blvd Independence blvd and shore drive mostly.I went to fort story a couple of times from little creek the farthest i ever went was out to sandbridge and back.Have you biked the Bay bridge ? I never got to do that i had duty.my experience was if i got off the main drags i wasted time and got lost.
