i want to change my single pivot to dual pivot brakes, but I've read i will have a problem with the mountings.

I read a lot of things and options, but not sure which would fit my bike.

what do you think? drill? use a front brake in the rear?....

For the front, I drilled out the back bolt hole and used a normal recessed front brake - drilling out the hole was so I could fit the recessed bolt in it.

That type of rear brake bridge usually has enough metal to safely enlarge the hole, but if I were you, I'd use a recessed front on the rear with an ordinary nut. You can sometimes use a recessed rear on the front if you can get a nut inside the steerer tube. The fork crown and the steerer tube give you enough material to anchor the brake without the bolt passing all the way through to the back of the fork. There is not always enough room to start or turn the nut, though.
