70's Essex on Craigslist - Is this right?

https://raleigh.craigslist.org/bik/2454233760.html

I have not seen many of this make and not much shows up with Google, so maybe someone here knows. Is the top tube supposed to be bent like this? It doesn't look like a flowing curve so I can't imagine that it's right.

Anyone?

Look for other similar Raleigh, Robin Hood, etc. models that are similar - they are probably all the same and have similar qualities/specs. Bent top tube for that model is probably right.

I've seen the bike in person and there's no problems. It's how the frame was made. I think it was pattered after the Raleigh colt models.

It is a sweet looking bike, not just in pictures. And others are right, there is not much on this brand out there.
