Whatever you like Arkansas, Not for me though. There are lots of bikes I'd like to N+1, but that's sure not one of them!

I wonder how much that thing weighs with that welded chain frame. I'm thinking the 50 to 60 pound range. My favorite detail is the carbide lamps.

Yeah, with just a bit of modification, you could turn them into cannons.

I suspect that is intended as a living room conversation piece, not to be used for riding.
Then again, you just never know.

I see people in my day-to-day existence who look like they could be lost family members
of the Munsters.

It's worth it to visit the auction just to look at the pics. The starting price is 25K. It will be interesting to see if he gets any bids or how high it goes.

I love it! Read the story on the bike. Butch Patrick rode it all over the place. It must weigh 60-70 lbs. If I had too much money, it would be hanging in my rumpus room next to the Masi from "Breaking Away". Take it out once year on Fourth of July to the local parade. Wonder if it will sell?

George Barris was one of my childhood heroes. We (me & my ego) need a Barris kustom kar.

No need to worry about theft - the bike is the chain.

I was reading that it was once sold as part of the "Cars of the Stars" inventory and I realized that I went to that auction, but I didn't see the bike, it must have been inside, but I definitely remember Uncle Martin's space ship and Professor Fate's car from The Great Race out on the lawn of the Ambassador hotel in L.A. Darn, I missed seeing it by that much.
