Everything old is new again

I think Rivendell started it. But it seems to have taken on a life of it's own.
You are seeing new bikes, sometimes very expensive bikes, that look as much
like old school bikes as they can.

Parts were a problem. but that problem seems to be going away.

Renee Herse cranks...

This isn't what I did. But I do like the looks.

I want to go on a tweed ride. Any idea where you find tweed?

Tweed is too hot and itchy. I suggest a hair shirt.

I am still awaiting the return of Shimano's DynaDrive. Not necessarily a good thing, but it is one of the few bad-ideas-gone-into-some-what-production that I still deal with on a regular basis due to my infatuation with 1st-gen Deore.

Wish that bike had those shiny silver cranks, but otherwise... whew, very beautiful. What is it? I can't see the name, and I fail all "name this bike" games.

Evidently it's a Pereira. I vaguely recall seeing that site before...

There's a fellow in the Midlands that wants to talk to you about that:
