Work trip to Taiwan.
Hi there.
In the next few months I am going to be heading to Taiwan on a work trip. I just found out that Giant is based there!
Are there any other manufacturers?
I am a roadie and was considering bringing a new bike back with me.
Also, how easy it is to rent a bike?
Thanks
Andy

I have been living in Taiwan for over 15 years, it's a great place. Are there any other manufacturers you ask? So many I could not count them all. As for bringing a new bike back, well unfortunately I doubt you'll save much if any money. As for renting, it's very easy to do along the MUP along the river downstream of Taipei, the cost is something I have have no idea. I retire next month, and will be returnjng to the states shortly after. The traffic in or around Taipei is heavy, however once outside and in the country it's very peaceful. BTW the people are great.
