New Serfas Lights. Anyone using one? How to mount battery?

I'm usually in the Road forum, but find a lot of useful info in here. Serfas came out with new 1000 and 1500 lumen lights. I'm looking to replace my Dinotte and these seem great, but have a rather heavy battery.

Anyone have any experience with these that can tell me how the battery mounts? I'm also considering the 500 since there's no external battery.

The 1000:

The 500:

The website has squat for info besides the basics.

Those look like about the size of my Cygolite battery. I've mounted it on top of the stem, and on top of or hanging down from the top tube right behind the fork.

Mount the light first, then play around and see where you can fit it. Top tube is great except for brake cable -- you have to make sure the mounting strap is under the brake. Almost makes me nostalgic for water bottle battery!

No experience with those to Serfas lights, but I have the Serfas True 250 lumens light and love it. The 500 and 1000 lumen must be insane because the 250 lumens really lights the road up well.

Gotcha. Thanks guys. Yup, I'll be getting the 1000 most likely. Can't beat 1000 lumens for 2.75 hours! Heavier battery external battery, but still that's pretty insane.
