Finally got out on my new Brooks saddle
embarrassed to say I don't remember the last bike ride but today I finally installed my new Brooks saddle and gave it a 10 mile test ride. initially I found it very slippery which is kinda cool for a saddle. after a while I realized it was pretty comfortable without the usual sit-bone discomfort. when installing it I was displeased with the rails' shape because I was unable to match my usual 19.5 inches from bar to saddle nose. I wanted to slide the saddle further back but could not due to the shape of the rails. I think it will be OK, the ride seemed comfortable enough with the saddle where it is. I guess it's been so hot, maybe I'll ride more this fall.

oh, tan bar tape. that's a good idea. any suggestions? I'm used to stretchy cork tape. not sure "leather" tape is the way to go.
