cassette HG20 vs HG50
I've been convinced that I need to replace ancient cassette and chain when replacing crankset and BB. I have choice of two Shimano 7 speed cassettes 12-28.
HG20 and HG50. HG20 is the less expensive $13.38 vs $19.20. I can find nothing on the Shimano site about HG20.
Can anyone tell me the difference?

Most similar cassettes use the same sprockets, and the difference is in things like plating or other cosmetic details.
Sometimes more dough gets models with the larger sprockets on aluminum spiders vs. sliding directly onto the freehub. That feature is worth paying extra for because it reduces nicking of the freehub body. There are also generational differences with new cassettes having more aggressive shift gates for crisper shifting.
If you can't see any specific feature that justifies spending more, but the cheaper cassette.
