English or Italian threading?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sir,

Either stick one or the other or take it to a shop.

No. Don't thread one in unless you want to strip your bottom bracket shell. Italian in righty-tighty on both sides.

From: The West Side (Of Rochester, NY).

Bikes: Light.

Measure the width of the shell.

68mm = English/BSA.

70mm = Italian.

English bb cartridge will slide right through an Italian bb. It should take you about a second to figure it out.

What bike do you have?
