Crizal lenses for prescription riding glasses?
I'm getting ready to buy new prescription eyeglasses and I'm hearing a lot about Crizal brand lenses. The manufacturer claims they are breakage-resistant, non-reflective, lightweight, anti-fogging. Supposedly they also make water sheet so you can still see in the rain.
These sound like the perfect lenses for cycling, buy I wonder if the claims hold up in real life. Does anybody have experience using these Crizal lenses while riding?

I have a very strong prescription and only use Crizal. It's lightweight and now that you mention it, I don't have much of a problem with fogging. Only when it's super cold and anything would fog up. Not a problem with rain beading either - although I do use a visor so that could be part of it.

I have Crizal lenses, they are good quality, anti-reflective, all that jazz.
Mine are also Transitions XtrActive, so they darken based on lighting conditions.

Crizal is mainly a COATING not necessarily lens. You can put Crizal on about any lens. Works fine. It's mainly an anti-reflective coating but helps make the lens more scratch resistant.

Thanks for the info. My impression from this is that Crizal may not be any better than the coatings I have on my present glasses. If so, I'll just shop by price.

How do you find those Xtractive w/ coating? Would you buy them again? Do they get dark enough? This is my biggest concern.
Also, How about in the heat? Is glare an issue?

I have Crizal and it's ok. Definitely not worth the price, I have a pair of glasses with no coating and there is a bit of a difference, but not much.

I use Crizal and they are damn near bullet proof. I'm a mechanic that does a quite a few field jobs, and the Crizal lens hold up superbly. No scratches after two years of use and abuse. They are worth the money.
