Bucks County PA Covered Bridge Ride October 9
I'll be working sweep at this event. Hope to see you there.
More info here...
https://cbbikeclub.org/?body=covered_bridge_ride&nav=cbr
This is THE premier cycling event in scenic Bucks County. Timed each year to be held on a rain-free weekend with the gorgeous fall colors shouting out, the CBR, as our members call it, is our best event ever.
You have five beautiful routes to choose from -- 20, 30, 33, 50 or 63 miles -- loads of great food, and the option to get our prized long-sleeve T-shirt. Travel through up to six historic covered bridges. Fatter tired bikes work best on the cinder-based paths for the 20 and 30 mile routes, which visit one or two bridges. The rides conclude with a Grande Finale Picnic.
Rides start and end at Tinicum Park, along the shores of the Delaware River.

Correction: the ride is on Sunday, October 9th, 2011. Monday is Columbus Day. Columbus did not ride bicycles.

As someone who grew up in Bucks County, I can vouch for the quality of this ride. The scenery and terrain is great (if you like hills), and CBBC is a great club. If you haven't done this ride before, I highly recommend it.
