New (and better) Tire & Chain Cover recommendations for Citizen Bike Gotham2
The bike has 20" tires and no chain cover. Anyone want to recommend some upgraded tires and a good chain cover for the bike?
Got a flat tire in the 1st week of use, so I'm thinking it's better to just go ahead and replace both. As for the chain cover, no issues with chain markings yet, but wanting to keep my clothes grease-free as long as possible.

Check the rim tape. Schwable Marathon Racers. Dahon has come out with a chain cover directly on the chain. It is on this page about a third of the way down https://www.thorusa.com/dahon/accessories/biologic.htm

In my experience you can't blame the tyres for punctures. Replacing new ones with other ones is futile if you are interested in getting no punctures. I have gotten punctures on every single tyre type I have tried, even the vaunted Marathon Plus.
