Where to stay on PA Bike Route S

I'm planning my first tour for some time this fall. Pittsburgh to Philly on Bike Route S. I'm going to stick to the official route, with maybe a few detours to see the abandoned interstate, etc...

Lots of blogs and crazyguyonabike posts about what to expect on the S route... but I haven't seen much advice about where to stay. I'm not planning on camping. This will be a very light, fast, credit card tour.

Anybody have hotel, B&B, or just general towns where I should stop on the way to find a place... suggestions?

Thanks!

PS... I'll be doing this on my Lynskey Cooper with just a rear rack and Gatorskins. I'm hoping these tires are beefy enough for the unpaved parts of trail.
