Hey look what I didn't know I had!
Went this weekend to clean out a storage unit I haven't seen the inside of since I left for a "road trip" that became permanent back in 2005. First thing I saw when I opened it up was a Giant Sedona! I was super psyched!
Needs new tires and such but not a touch of rust on it. Looks brand new. I was a lot smaller back in '05, def not an athena but I think I'll be alright. I've probably only ridden it a few times, I only just really got into cycling.
I'm so happy! Can't wait to try it out. Does anyone ride this bike?

Nice find!
I started out on a Giant Cypress ST - the cheaper cousin to your Sedona. I rode that bike into the ground, and have since moved on to other bikes.
Get it tuned up and take 'er for a spin!

Similar story for me. I bought a Sedona in the mid 1990's and rode it maybe 50 mile and stopped riding. Back then it was a rigid fork mountain bike, so it worked fairly well on the road. I let it sit until 2008 when I got back into riding. I put a couple of hundred miles on it until I bought a full on road bike, but I still ride the Sodona every once in a while. My last ride with it I pulled my 6 year old daughter 38 miles on her trail-a-bike. Sometimes I think of getting rid of it, but it just holds to many great memories for me for me to do it now. Hope you create some great memories with yours now too.
