What Happens When We/I Get Tired of Bikes

I pretend that I'm Elvis!

Every now and then I get tired of thinking bikes so I do a little something different. As mentioned before, I have no deranged thoughts of being good but it sure would be fun being blessed with musical talent, which I'm not ha ha! But it's fun to play around with the guitar every so often, like once every 6 months. In on of my videos I used my electric guitar as in into to the real song. A rider said that he'd like to see me do a song all the way through. I won't mention his name so that you guys can't blame him for this madness ha ha! One song through and a couple of pieces.

Today was one of those times I felt like farting around with the acoustic guitar. After the guitar I started to thinking how much easier it was when someone else played the music so I did a karaoke song too for funzies! I didn't plan on posting it but Gina said it ain't all that bad and said "post it" so here it is! The songs will explain the picture I took a few years back, and one of my favorites that I keep around ha ha!

I am by no means under the impression that I have musical talent, my brother does but so what, I can kick his arse in any sport!

My non-cycling hobbies:

Staring at a glowing box while the glowing parts tell a story.
Staring at a glowing box while pretending that the glowing parts are both real and under my command.
Poking holes in paper 25 ft away.

None of them are particularly exciting to watch. Well, the poking holes part, if you're into that kind of thing.

See? I told ya you can sing! What happened to the first singing vid you uploaded a few months ago? It's gone now. This one's even better though. Longer and more songs.

Sometimes, I've been tired of bikes because I've been cut-up and messed up and my legs hurt too much to ride. Then it's time to slip on some leggings over the bandages, get someone to wheelchair me to a nice picnic spot for a day or two until I can heal enough to get some boots on and go fishing!

I deleted it. This time a rider I know from the trail said he wanted to see me sing an entire song, so I remade it.

What happened to the legs? Ahhh... I feel dumb. I'm tempted to say I got in a kickboxing match with a mountain lion, but in reality, it was a stupid mistake. It was just back in early August, about 2 months ago up north of Vancouver, Canada in a little community near Squamish where I have a 2nd home. I was scrambling over some boulders near the beach and slipped, fell into a pocket of barnacle-covered rocks. Did a great job of shredding my shins and calves and I landed hard on my left knee to boot. Lost a dig camera too that fell into shallow salt water. But I went home, cleaned myself up, administered first aid, and healed up pretty good on it's own. No infection, and little pain after 4 days, but quite a bit of bruising around the left knee. Kept me off my bike for over 2 weeks and the first ride I went on after coming back state side, re-injured that muscle/tendon. But it's been another 6 weeks since and cycling is getting really comfortable again. In fact, I have a big ride tomorrow.

I can see it now, Mr Beanz on the SART in the saddle of his bike with a guitar slung across his back just like an old cowboy movie.

Always the little mistakes, usually the way it happens. But I bet you had lots of time to roll potstickers!
