NEED HELP- RESIZING PICTURE for Avatar

Can someone show me or help me resize this so I can use foir my avatar. TIA Thanks In Advance
I have tried to do an Attachment - hope it works.

Try it now. I was thinking it had to be less than 6mb, I've compressed it to fit in 5mb.

I would like to put an animated gif as my avatar, but can't figure out:
1. how to reduce it to the right size, and
2. how to keep the animation once it is reduced.
