Bearing cone. What size and where to buy?
I took apart a rear axis of my bike and discovered, that one of the bearing cone has a tiny crack(?) Or it just wore out.(?) Or it was adjusted too tight(?)
Anyway, I would like to replace it.
For instance, Jenson has them, but they all look the same:
https://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...+Hub+Cone.aspx
But I could not find what is the size/type I do have to order correct part.
My hubs are Formula brand. Bike is Cannondale CAAD 8.
Please, help!

Repack, new cone matching profile of old.You can purchase precision balls and sometimes its easier to purchase a axle complete with cones.Carefully inspect the hub races for damage pits etc.Light and a ball point pen to run around the race. Use a plate of glass to check axle for bending.Take it from old cyclist, a crack in the balls is no fun

I went to LBS and they gave me new ones - $5 each, they are a little different - few mm longer, but it should not be a problem, right?
The thread on mine is 10x1mm, so I can look up online too. As I understand there is no specification for the ball size. If the thread is 10x1mm it should fit to the the bearing balls used, is it correct?
