Is it a good idea to allow battery "cool off " a litttle bit before recharging ?

Is it a good idea to allow battery "cool off " a litttle bit before recharging ?
Hello,
Not that my battery literally gets hot but lately as soon as I get home from my average 7-10 mile morning ride I put my 36V 9AH Panasonic battery on charge a couple minutes after taking it off the bike. the reason why is I often do 2 trips & want a fully charged battery ready to go for my afternoon boogie .
I find myself checking on it a couple times before charge is complete making sure it hasnt exploded or anything ..
Anyways it's a Lithium Ion battery, ..thanks in advance for any replys & Happy New Year ..

LiPo or LiFePo4?
If it's LiPo and it does get warm, no issues..
But if it gets hot, that's indicative of an errant cell or battery.
What charger are you using?
Does battery have a BMS?
Etc..

it's a Lithium ion , I'm not sure LiPo or LifePo4?..Charger is class 2 Model C06oL1001..Input 100 V-240V, 50-60Hz 1.2 A., output42.0V=1.35A... I tried to link if from 2 different websites NG? Anyways ..it says.

Sounds like a LiPo charger..
Phylion, more than likely..
The battery has a built in BMs, so you should have no worries...
Charge it up any time as many times as you want...
No need to "cool it off".. UNLESS the pack is getting noticeably HOT.
