Cleveland Roadmaster Roadbike Frame?

My buddy has this bike frame he converted to SS (No drew) that we are trying to do some research on but we are not having too much luck, the only roadmaster i can find is the old cruisers, does anyone own this kind of frame or is it just the roadmaster badge glued to a random bike frame? Could somebody maybe give us info or a value on this frame?

Badge looks glued. Are there holes behind it where the screws would go?
Frame looks french, or maybe Austrian. Not real high end.
If there are actually holes for that badge, try looking up AMF bikes. They took over Roadmaster and started bringing in lugged europian frames during the boom. That headbadge looks older than the AMF era, though.

I'm pretty sure that frame didn't come from Cleveland.

It looks copper plated but i could be wrong, maybe it's just paint.

A master of the road perhaps but a Road Master she is not. Kinda cool though, I'd have splurged for a Rene Herse' or Alex Singer badge myself.

Don't throw that badge out, BTW. It's worth a dollar or two (or maybe ten).
