Stronglight assistance in SE Michigan?

I need to borrow a crank extractor for a Stronglight 49D. I want to fit one onto my Trek or onto my new frame, but I can't experiment with BB fitments without being able to remove the crank if it doesn't work out. I just bought one from an Ebay seller, and it would not thread well. Takikng a good look at the threads, they are very fat and unevenly cut - a POS. I need to use one made either by Stein or by Stronglight, a tool that's made right.

I think I'd need it for not more than two weeks.
