Riding the "Waterfall" section of Mountain Goat Trail...on ONE wheel!

I couldn't wait to go back, so I shot this today (my second time there) at "Mountain Goat" trail in Santiago Oaks, Orange, CA. This is footage of the infamous "Waterfall" section. Definitely one of the most challenging technical sections I've ever ridden, and of course, waaaay steeper than it looks. First time my magura brake shoes were "shocked" out of alignment!

I can't see your photos but the trail you are talking about is most likely Ridgeline/Chutes... The top of Chutes is a steep rocky section. The top of Mountain Goat (one of the easiest routes up to the ridgeline) is just a switch back.

You are a newbie so I don't expect you to remember all the trail names. And yes photos can't really show how steep that section is. Come watch some races sometimes and see how many people fail to negotiate the Waterfall (I think the Enduro Cup is sch'd for July)

edited to add: Again I can't see your photo... you may be talking about the old "Mountain Goat" trail somewhere in the middle...if so, nevermind!

"Photo"? I posted a video, and yes, it is most definitely the "waterfall" section of Mountain Goat.

Thanks. I use movie maker for all my videos since 2006. I just have to get creative with it since it is limited as far as titles and effects, but the way I see it, the *footage* os the most important part, not all the jazzy peripheral effects, although they would be nice to have. I made the split screen with an add on I found, and imported it into mm.

Can't see either way - realized aftewards you probably were referencing sections of the old Goat trail...

Not sure why you can't view it, when everyone else can. Strange. But there's only one "waterfall" section at Santiago Oaks, which is the same section shown in the video. Can you see the pics below? They are video stills from the video. They are also in order, from top to the last super steep section.

This is from the TV series, "Growing Bolder". Most everyone knows about mountain biking, but relatively few know about mountain *unicycling*, so it's great to get the word out about it to more and more people.
