Anyone touring with a Cannondale Adventure headshock bike?
I just picked up a really nice 60cm Cannondale Adventure 600 headshock bike frame/fork in a trade today. I had most of the parts needed to build it up laying around so I started out with trekking bars, Velocity Dyad wheels, Shimano Deore/LX derailleurs, some new linear pull brakes etc. I'm generally a dyed-in-the-wool steel guy, but I'm seriously considering using this as a secondary touring bike and gravel, forest, and fire road touring or riding.
Has anyone else here toured with one of these, I'd love to seee pictures and any thoughts or recommendations.

Here's a picture of the bike from this morning. I tossed my 700-42 Vittoria Randonneu tires on the Velocity Dyad wheels, they fill out the bike better then the 700-38 cyclocross tires.
Just need a couple of small parts and it will be ridable. Then I just need to sort out what to do for a rear rack and possibly an OMM front rack?

C'dale sold a decent headshock touring bike to the EU, not the US market.

I've used a Cannondale Adventure 400 for two tours in the 300-400 mile range: Pittsburgh-to-DC and Vermont-Montreal-Mont Laurier. Both tours were a mix of road, paved path, and gravel/rough path. I added bar ends, a rear rack (forget the brand right now), and an Old Man Mountain rack in the front.
Not very loaded:
On tour in Quebec:
Brakes, wheels, and derailleurs were all stock.
Have fun with it!
