early campag fd
Hi
I have an early fd with cable stop it's in pretty good condition but it has been used and is missing a stop bolt.
I was gonna keep it cos it was cool but i have decided to sell.
It doesn't have a circlip so if it can actually be used is debatable, but with some simple but careful engineering it could.
The middle A is campagnolo is very feint but this was most likely manufacturing flaw.
And the hole for the missing bolt has been elongated so a bolt can go in but it is quite loose and would need rethreading

Not much value there. And selling broken/incomplete parts on ebay is risky. First, the customer is always king, and regardless of how well you describe it, they will win any complaint on the item, and ebay will let them flame you on feedback. Myself, unless an item is perfect, I don't put it on ebay.
Selling parts on C/L? I have never had luck there.
+1 Selling it on the forum, or trading it with a forum, would be a win/win for all involved.

This is a mid-life production unit as the upper lever arm is not yet alloy and the lack of pivot retaining screws. $50 and a grumble as it sits, $75 to $90 if the possible problems can be confirmed as not.
