Hello From Toronto, Ont... Need Help
Hello ; >
So i have sold my 2nd car for the family and i have decided to ride a bike to work... I think it'll help me enjoy the commute as well as get some exercise cause with the new baby it's hard to find some time to get out.
I have NO idea about what bike to get since i have not owned a bike in 20 years.. (when i was about 12).
So i just need some help picking out a decent bike within the price range of $400 (used or new).
or is that budget too low?
Appreciate all your help in advanced.

Welcome to the forums! Too low on the price is subjective. Will a $400 bike ride like a $4k dollar bike? No. Will a $400 bike get you there and back? Sure. You should be able to get a good used bike for that price. I would suggest getting to know a thing or two about your size of bike. For me a bike that fits is the most important part, it will make or break your riding future. Hope that helps.

I strongly suggest the commuting forum, lot or help there. I personnaly commute 61 kms every day in the great white north (40 min. south of Montreal) so if I can help you with anything it will be my pleasure.
