Garlatti folding bicycle

I have a vintage Italian folding bicycle by Garlatti. Does anyone have any idea what it might be worth? I can't find much about the company anywhere, and can't find anything on any other folding bikes made by Garlatti. The bike says "Garlatti Parma Velocina". I am not sure how old it is, but maybe the type of light on it is an indication, it just generates light by running off of the front tire. It does have some non-original parts, I bought it refurbished.

If anyone knows anything about this bicycle I am dying to know. Thanks for your help!

Typical U Frame folder. Tons were made and every 100 have a different brand. Not worth much but fun to ride (think wet noodle) you can find more info in the folding bikes sub forum.

Welcome to the Bike Forums.

I have owned a few small wheel and/or folding bicycles and, these days, I give them away. Not because there is anything wrong with the bikes, but there appears to be no market for them yet. I say yet because I do believe the interest in them is on the increase.

So, value of your bicycle in markets I am familiar with, under $50.00 and it just might be difficult to sell at that price. Sorry to be blunt but, as mentioned, I am basing my appraisal on experience.

This BSA Twenty sold for $10.00 on Ebay and earned only one bid. I have a feeling that the buyer was sorry he won the auction...

This old Olmo and Raleigh folder (two actually) never attracted much attention. I gave them to Bicycles to Humanity, who sold them to a bulk buyer for very little $ per unit...

Again, sorry to present this opinion based information, but there is a silver lining. Interest in small wheel bicycles is increasing. A couple of years from not, the situation might be completely different. With that in mind, and as suggested by others, forget value and enjoy the ride - for now.
