Cofidis Hotel Raided - Arrests at TDF

https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/cofi...tour-de-france

DiGregorio arrested at the TDF. A judge that was working on a case against him chose now to jmp on him? Yeah, sure sounds like headline greed to me.

No wonder people think its only cycling that is a dopers paradise! These prosecuters just love doing everything during the TDF! No other sport waits and has police run onto the field and cart some playerr away because of his drug test.

Now its just status quo to wait till the largest event, then pounce and rant and rave through the headlines.

Jesus Christ, cycling is becoming a mockery of itself. Maybe they should just give up and let it be like the Mr. Olympia contest. I think they call it "open" class. Whatever goes. Hell, stick yourself in the middle of the race and watch those dudes go!

The vast majority of the non-cycling public thinks it's a doper's paradise anyway. The cheaters will always be ahead. Screw it, I want to see 8% climbs done at 20mph!

I hope this doesn't turn into another festina situation with one team being raided and all the sudden half the teams rooms are being combed over.

"Becoming" a mockery? We're talking about a sport where a prestigious italian team rides bikes in pink and blue unitards.

The general public really couldn't care less.

cycling has testing before during and after every flippin stage, and baseball is debating whether to have "possible" testing for more than the off season... football? pffft! not even a hint.
And all the self important sports writers saying they are shocked and amazed at cycling blah blah. Its not even a media circus, its a sideshow.
