help Identify this Recumbent from Critical Mass SF
Can anybody Identify or know who owns this tadpole homebuilt trikeI saw
at the last Critical mass in San Francisco a few days ago.
2 wheels Fixed postion NON turning in front, each wheel driven separately ala front wheel drive by driver and passenger
Steer is via single rear wheel.
The even had a baby on board. A very innovative street worthy trike. Was not fast enough to take better pictures.
Reminds me of the Dymaxiom car long time ago

It almost looks like they're using two SWB's and a tub from an old Cannondale Bugger!
Pretty cool idea...especially considering I have two of those old Cannondale Trailers out back!

I'm not aware of any commercially-made trike with rear wheel steering.

Yes the Sidewinder did. They just went out of business. My bike shop here in Lincoln sold them, but I never rode them. Just seemed kinda weird.
