Where can I buy these small threaded spacers?

Seems like a simple thing to find but I can't seem to get em.
I mean the small threaded spacers that come between the freewheel and the frame on the back for creating a straight chain line.
Had loads of them from taking old bikes apart but I've run out and wanna get a pack of them.
Any ideas where?

You have three options that I am aware of:

1) A freewheel shim. These don't thread on, they just slide on like a washer.

2) A bottom bracket spacer. These also don't thread on.

3) A bottom bracket lockring. These thread on - english bottom brackets use the same threading as freewheels (1.375" x 24 tpi). They may not be the thickness you need.

You should be able to get either at any decent bike shop for no more than a few dollars. Any online dealer that actually sells small fiddly parts should have them as well, if you search for them by the above names.

I think he may be talking about axle spacers, which are also usually not threaded.

Go to a bike shop.

Or a hardware store. Assuming you aren't too concerned about aesthetics, any 10mm washer/spacer will do the job.

You can barter with your district velocipede merchant for them. Offer him a healthy calf or one American dollar.
