hello
im joe from england,i grew up in the early 80s and like most kids had a raleigh racer-a raleigh arena which i loved to bits and customised to cottarless 10 speed woop woop, when i got a bit older i was still into trading/making up bikes and knew some stufff about campag/shimano/weinneman/ etc(please excuse spelling as im not arsed to check).anyway what i always wanted back then but couldnt afford was a raleigh record sprint which i finally got 3 years ago, which i know looks flashier than it actually is! the other bikes on my almost reachable money scale back then were the raleigh clubman and record ace and dawes super galaxy which a mate had which was very nice.i know its sounding a bit raleigh based but thats what it was like in the north of england back then.recently i chanced upon a pearl white raleigh professional with decent campag parts and i couldnt resist paying a bit over the odds for it, lifes too short after all-for me its my dream bike and ive got back into bombing about on bikes properly-im very much a jeans and trainers rider which i hope doesnt offend anyone on here.anyway, this was just to say hello, feel free to take the p
thanks
