Anybody know what happened to touring blogger Cass Gilbert?

I'm an avid reader of the blog https://whileoutriding.com/, which documents Cass Gilbert's rambling off-road bike travels through the Americas. Great adventures, descriptive writing and fantastic photos - highly recommended. Anyway, he hasn't posted since mid September - the last update is that he got back to the States where he was going to a bike show in Vegas. No updates since then, including no responses to people wondering if he's all right. Anybody know anything about him, if something happened to him, etc?

I thought he was busy designing churches, state capitols, and the U.S. Supreme Court building.

Cass was last in New Mexico, biking with Nicholas of Gypsy By Trade and Joe of Pedaling in Place. They have reports on their respective blogs.

Didn't his work recently show up in Adventure Cycling Mag? I'm pretty sure it has...
