Excellent and congratulations to Spawn #2 and you!

Sounds like you went through the reverse of what I've been through with #1 and #2 .

First night serving at Hamilton out of the Cold. Volunteer numbers were real low because of the weather, but we slogged our way through it knowing that it was on. There are people in need who depend on these hot meals so we had to make sure to make it in. It was nice to be there with the wife, add a bit of normalcy to what's going on in the household.

Speaking of kids, my oldest will be heading to his mother's over the holiday and returning with his younger brother. Now the question is, when does boy #2 intend on going home? That has not been conveyed as of yet. We may have a full house in the new year...

Junior barfed today, a few times. Lack of appetite for a day plus previously and I have a stomach ache. I should have known. Problem is no fever so no outward signs of illness, just some listlessness.

Count is 4-0, kid is winning. I've developed some good reflexes and I'm a lot more paranoid if Junior whimpers (normally he doesn't through the night so if he does he's really uncomfortable i.e. his tummy hurts), so other than towels, blankets, and his own clothes we got through the night pretty clean. I was up until 4 or so, and he was up for a few minutes at least every hour until 1. From then he was up until past when I fell asleep at somewhere around 4 (the Missus took over as I was passing out). His experience of the night would be a series of dots and a 2+ hour dash early in the morning. My experience of the night is one really long dash.

Now to shovel the walk and the edges of the driveway.
