How is the HARO X2 Extreme ???
Thinking of buying one, comments on the web are mostly good but some say "don't touch" your opinion will be helpful. Heard its the best bike for the buck ($800)

I have an 03' and like it. I did have to replace the rear swingarm (warranty) no probs.

What type of riding do you do with yours Killer B, is it a good bike for freeride and an overall beating, Im a big dude, and am looking into a FS.

8" rotors, unless they make something besides 6" and 8" that i don't know about.

I love this bike... Weigh's in @ 35 lbs. It's great for any type of riding XC, DH, FR, you name it, it can do it....
It'll be a year old in March, I hate to see it go....
BTW. The bike itself cost me $1000, my upgrades took it to 2K....

An 8 inch rotor is 203mm accross, apparently a couple of DHer's have been experimenting with 230mm rotors. I'm not totally sure weather this is just e-speculation but I heard it on an Aussie forum

Well, I don't think the specs would change that much, looking at the 05 (which I hope is similar, or else this post is useless) it has pretty good components, fork, rear shock ect. Sounds like a nice bike I'd buy it if I had the money.

With a Fox is the rear on the 2004 and a Manitou on the 2005, the 04 seems yummier on paper. Most of the other components seems comparable. Looks like a nice bike. 35 pounds doesnŽt sound bad especially if it will take the bigger drops. Price isnŽt bad either. I think IŽll have to consider this.

I think I would take a fox in the back rather than Manitou, so 04 sounds good. It has basicly the same components. I say it again I would buy one if I had the cash.

You can also get Anchor/Dice/Armour (they're all the same) discs with 7" rotors.
