Can anyone identify this? Not RSW...
Hi there, I've already posted this in the classic/vintage section where it was suggested I post it here too.
At first I assumed it was an RSW but on closer inspection it's a little different. The main difference is in the bottom bracket area where the shell is in line with the main tube and the chainstays. IIRC it was slung a little below on the RSW. This has been bugging me not knowing what it is so any help appreciated

Yeah, it rides fine (well, other than being a little unstable). The only thing I've done to it is change the tyres and adjust the indicator rod. I need to do a little welding on the carrier but other than that it's all good. Do you have any idea who the manufacturer may have been?

made for Halfords. but still, the mystery of the manufacturer remains. rigida rims and crankset same as moulton. also, as far as i know, this is the only shopper bike other than the moulton f-frames that have 349 wheels. unique and cool bike. I'm already imagining the possibilities...

I would be tempted to have someone braze a top tube into it, make it into a mini-velo.

Nice vaporware!
I wouldn't do it to such a nicely preserved original finish, of course. The harlequin design one, though... that's fair game.

I was tempted by the notion myself, but decided it would be better to leave well alone since it's a rare and unusual thing. I am however planning some radical modifications to a mid '70s Kingpin which has seen better days... low profile time trial shopper conversion with 2 speed fixed converted Sturmey Archer AW... Watch this space!
