Kilo WT updated
Bought 3 years ago and both original tubes have failed where the valve stem is joined to the tube. Originally changed out 700x32c Kendas with nicer 700x35c Panaracer Pasela TG folding tires, but front was too big for a fender to fit, so I changed it out with a 700x32c Pasela TG. Big change is I flipped the rear wheel and changed from FG to SS and re-installed the rear brake, which I had removed when I was running fixed. Freewheel is an ancient Regina Extra 21T x 1/8" that is about 40 years old. Still have the fixed cog mounted, so I can change back any time I want. Bike now weighs 26.4 lbs as shown with fenders and rack.

Just picked up an old ordinary gitane. Definitely SSFG, definitely bizarre, definitely a keeper. I'll have a restoration thread in C&V any day now.
Has a drivetrain scheme with a chain (currently removed, along with one of the four plates that make up the chainring) under the pie plate (which is welded to the right crankarm) pushing a freewheel.
Enhance:
Not so sweet welds
Sw8 bars.

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
The old Peugeot got some new wheels... came across some mint Panaracer Tri Sports in a 27 by 1 size and had some vintage Weinmann 27 inch hoops so built up the wheels on the weekend. Used to run these tyres on my old Bianchi racing bike and they are so smooth, fast, and ride extremely well... and they are also fairly bulletproof.
The ring lock is great for what is a "beater / bar / rainbike as it secures the back wheel while I can then lock up the front with my shackle.
And you just have to love SPD pedals on a cottered crank... I will swap that crank out as soon as I go through the box o' spindles which will drop a pound off the bike but as it works well, I am no big rush to fix it.
I really prefer road conversions to track bikes for the road... and these old Pugs ride so very well.
Updated after an evening spent tidying the fender line and adding a rear rack, seat bag (for the spare and patch kit) and a vintage bottle cage...

Finalized my build - for now, at least. Added a Nitto stem, Toshi double straps, Thomson seatpost collar (31.8 by the way, *ahem* Leuky), and silver spacers for that clean look.

Your cog is slipping.
It's terrible. Sometimes I get caught up in posting there, then immediately think "What the hell am I doing?" and do something else.
