Manitou Tower Expert 29er

Anyone know of recent bikes using the Manitou Tower Expert 29er fork as stock? (1 1/8 inch)

No, but I installed one on my FIL's Felt base model 29er.

It is damn nice. He is about 210 pounds (I've not asked, specifically, LOL) and seems to work good with the firm spring. I cannot adequately describe how much better it is than his original fork, a Suntour XCR. I make all the changes to his bike based on what he is feeling on the trail, but we're pretty much at a set-and-forget point now. It is very tuneable and would reward a rider who spends the time to tweak settings for each trail.

Hi,

Yeh, Iīve found a few good reviews on the fork... Your personal review is welcome.. Thanks for the info.

Did some searching and canīt find any bikes with this fork as stock install, was a little surprised about this, thatīs all. Anyone who knows of a bike with this installed from scratch, would love to know.

Cheers all.

I got that, but a simple "no" didn't seem like an adequate response.

Through the mighty power of Google, I found exactly ONE complete bike with a Manitou Tower Expert: 2013 Salsa Spearfish 3

Seeing as how you might not want that particular bike, I suggest you talk to the reseller or LBS and see if you can make a deal to install a Tower Expert and get some trade-in credit for the stock fork. One of my local shops is very good about that sort of thing.

The Tower Expert is a fork that people usually upgrade to, it doesn't seem to come stock on many bikes unfortunately.

Tower Pro:

The 'LTD' and 'Comp' are probably OEM versions of the 'Expert' and 'Pro'

It looks like Corratec had a few models from last year with the Tower Expert.

Although if the OP is in North America, he can't get anything but the Salsas or Fuji.
