Vintage Serotta Murray Frame -- 57 cm cc

I purchased this steel frame from the Serotta factory in 1986 while taking part in a tour of the facility. I was told that it was ridden by a certain 7-11 team member, but there is no documentation as to which one. It is painted in Serotta’s beautiful Sapphire and Chrome motif. Note the flat brake bridge and the detailing on the top of the chainstays, which were the calling cards of the Murray frame. Also note the number tab dropping down from the top tube.

Seat tube -- 57 cm, cc. Top tube -- 57 cm, cc. Head tube -- 165 mm. Dropout spacing -- 126 mm.

This vintage frame has been ridden, but not for some time and it is time for it to go to a new home. There are some chips in the paint and a small bit of surface rust. Included with this is a Campagnolo head set and bottom bracket. Other Campagnolo parts from this bike are available. If interested in purchasing them, just ask. More photos available, upon request.

Frame, headset and bottom bracket. $400.00 plus shipping, within continental US.
