Tour Mediterraneen

Voigt takes stage 1 with Nazon and Dekker in tow. Must of been a solid break.

There was a lot of talent in that break. I'd have picked Nazon to outsprint Voight.

CSC is looking quite strong so far this year.

I think CSC can be even stronger than last year. They've signed some good riders.

Just as I suspected; Voight finished alone 17secs ahead.

I said something similar back in December.

"Valvarde's the next big TDF star. Also watch for Menchov, Karpets and my dark horse, Philippe Gilbert."

Not sure if he's TDF podium material yet.

I don't think Gilbert will be a TDF star, but he may be a star one day. And don't forget Nuyens.

Voigt again in stage 3 by eleven seconds over Moncoutie and Pellizotti. It'll be interesting to see how CSC performs in tomorrow's TTT. By early indications: STRONG.

I hope that Pellizotti can actually win something this year

CSC won the TTT as expected. Liquigas-Bianchi was a mild surprise in 2nd off by only 18 seconds. FDJeux had decent ride; I expect good things from them this season.

And Voigt takes the final clasification. CSC had four riders in the top 10. This is their second tour win of the year and just like this time last year, they look strong.
