The beauty of Azusa and GMR
I'll keep it quick, on Monday morning I decided to ride Azusa to GMR. I have done this ride backwards a couple times and love it so I decided to flip it around. Azusa was a load of fun and so was east fork road, the back side of GMR is a challenge. Then again so is the front. The climate was great,a chilly early ride followed by a mild and sunny noontime. There were a lot of people out riding. I guess more people get presidents say off than I realized. The only down side I noticed is that there is a bit of trash on the road. Most of it was cups, but I did see a few gel wrappers and I also found a discarded tube. I picked it up and an going to patch it but if you lost it by accident feel free to contact me.

That's my tube, patch it then send it back to me.
That's a nice ride. I've at times done GMR, down the back side to east fork, then back up the back. Less traffic imo and closer to home.
You might want to try 39 straight up to Crystal Lake, that's a cool ride too!

Haha I'll keep an eye out for more tubes. I may never have to buy a tube again. I have done Azusa to Crystal Lake once. Tough ride for sure. Decent was cold but beautiful.

Hillbasher and I once went beyond Crystal Lake to Dawson Saddle. Talk about cold. It was super WINDY and cold above CL. Felt like I was wearing 2 lb ear rings my lobes were so frozen. That was in the month of October. I can't imagine doing it on a Jan or Feb day.

LOL I hit "post reply" too quick and when I re-read that I just imagined me turning a corner somewhere up in the mountains and running into the blonde guy from that show. 1067 × 1085 - fanpop.com
