Okay, here's mine.
It's a wolf in sheep's clothing, except it still rides like a wolf. The most comfortable and responsive bike I've ever ridden.
Giant Defy Advanced SL custom build; SRAM Red/Shimano Dura-Ace pedals, Shimano Dura-Ace carbon/tubeless wheels, Zipp handlebar/LizardSkins wrap, SMP Dynamic seat.
Okay, I can die happy

Just bought a Tricross Elite Disc
https://www.specialized.com/gb/gb/bik...oss-elite-disc
for shipping to Cyprus. It will replace the old Rayleigh Light Tourer (531) I ride on tracks in Cyprus.
https://picasaweb.google.com/1179667...OiKrYbP36n56QE
(I'll put the rack back on that and use it for shopping!)
I spend half the year in Cyprus and half in England where I have a custom built Audax by Robin Mather
https://picasaweb.google.com/1179667.../BrianSAudax02
Even a 61cm Tricross is a bit small for me, but with a rising stem it's pleasantly usable.
Maybe with the Tricross I will brave parts of the dry river bed, rather than sticking to the gravel "towpath".
I'm very lucky, living next to the river with a cycleway right into Nicosia Old Town and 6 miles out to the country.

Finished the overhaul on my TREK and used the leftovers from it and the wife's TREK to build up a $20 frame to ride when the roads are crappy.
Yes, I know, I have a LOT of stuff on my bikes. My next build, an aluminum hybrid, will be "bare bones".

My Diamondback Edgewood LX. First bike I've had since I was in grade school. Beast weighs in at 33 lbs. and gives me a pretty good workout on the flat terrain around here.

My road bike
2013 Trek Domane 4.5. I finally broke my 1989 Cannondale 3.0 this year. The Domane is my first new road bike since I bought the Cannondale. I'm getting used to the brifters after all those years of down tube shifters. I like the brifters!!

Nice bike, but I have one question. How do you break a bicycle? And only an '89? Okay that's two questions.
I rode my 41 year old Peugeot on my 27 mile round trip commute today. Neither it nor any of my other bikes, all steel, show any sign of breaking. (They do brake quite often though.)

Just replaced the Diamondback Edgewood in post #360 with this:
I'm still in the process of getting used to a much faster, much more responsive bike than the Diamondback was. But darn it is fun!! I have no trouble getting the thing up to sixteen or seventeen mph even as out of shape as I know myself to be.

I chuckled at your call it "horse". Seems to be a very fitting name.

Just bought this same '83 Trek 970 frame from Barrettscv for a winter build. I actually built one like it 30 years ago and regretted having to sell it. I'll be touching up the few chipped paint spots and putting on new original repro' decals before fitting it out with mostly period correct parts albeit with some concessions to modernity including a VO fluted compact crank (modified with different chainrings) and some sealed bearing hubs, headset, BB and even derailleur pulleys. Probably not going full Campy with this though just to be a little different.....as always with me.
