wish me luck

Heading in for a stress test in a few minutes. Seems I have angina and it's gotten bad enough to hold my riding back so now we'll see if I need to further improve my diet, have a stint put in, a quadruple bypass or just tossed out in the dumpster out back. It's going to be a very interesting next few hours. Could be something entirely different...we'll see.

I have had a couple of stress tests, didn't study for either and passed them both. Good luck with yours.

Good luck, bonne chance, buena suerte, viel Glück, καλή τύχη, and удачи!

May your stress-test be stress-free. May your blood flow unstintingly through your vessels. May your only bypass be of any need for surgery.

You will be just fine. Do what the doc sez (be a compliant patient) and ride brother ride. I had bypass surgery the first of the year and was on the trainer in four weeks, on the road in 12. Don't fret a thing. Cycling has already saved your life.

Dumpster option would be cheaper than a CABG, altho you might find a rotting cabbage in the dumpster.
Good luck.

Hope the test went well for you today.
I think Doctors need to find a better way to test people.
I have had a couple of (stress) tests
In my opinion They should call it
We are going to run you till you either collapse or die
and hope we can fix/save you in time

My comments here are not meant to be funny
the medical community needs to fiqure out a way
to test people without endangering there lives

Good thing you are doing this now, rather than ignoring symptoms and possibly dying!

Good luck.
I'm 68 and had the stress test a few years ago (while still living in ATL) on a stationary bike because I had knee surgery 3 months earlier and the sports med doc said no more running. He suggested the bike for the test.
I maxed out the test and all the way through the tech kept asking if I was ok. I told him I rode harder than the test effort when I'd rode to Stone Mtn.
Anyway, seems I have mild angina so the heart doc just said to take it slow till I got warmed up. So that's what I've done for the past few years and my riding has been great.
